This vehicle is a really good idea. Perfect for farms with >300ha/741 acres
Great to see Manitou back on the market with a proper telehandler. The 630 and 635 were nothing but junk. A pale comparison to the 628.
What are these balers like for baling silage? Everyone tells me to avoid belt balers for silage but I've seen a nice 2nd hand one for not big money which I might have a look at...
Avoid for wet silage, belts can't handle wet crops as they slip and break if pressure is too high
Thanks, I'll probably try and get 1 more season out of my trusty old Welger rp12 and look for either a roller or chain & slat baler next year.

Reminds me of when I was in College in UK a few years back used to do silage with a few Farmers, and the same thought came in my head back then as when I see this video...underpowered...I know its not a contracting outfit, just I notice in Ireland we tend to go for enough HP to blow the back door off the trailer with the harvester..not always the best way, just what I was used to I guess til I went to the UK. Great editing on the video, very well done.

how many acres do you silage a year?
Will make bales from 800mm to 1600mm. We make 900mm (3 feet) to sell to equestrian centres as they can be easily rolled around by one person, also get more bales to the acre!
